There are many ways you can help us have a successful gleaning season:
Sign up here & tell us more about yourself!
Help us fight hunger and get more produce into Pierce County Food Banks in the 2012 season.
We will organize volunteers from your community to help you pick and deliver your fruit to a local food bank.
Is there always that neighbor of yours whose plum trees drop their fruit making a huge mess? Let them know about us! Do you walk your dog in the fall and see fruit being neglected and wasted in your neighborhood? Pass out informational fliers! We are also happy to send some fliers to you in the mail if you prefer. Email emily@efoodnet.org
Garden for the hungry! Food banks want fresh produce! Use the following document to find a food bank in your neighborhood that needs fresh produce and to find out how you can best help them feed your community.

Our volunteers really make a difference.
Averaging our 2011 gleaning total of 29,785 lbs among our 75 volunteers who came out at least once this season, each volunteer brought in 397 lbs of fresh, healthy, local produce for their local food banks.
